This website is operated by Rentlens Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17361889), registered office 5 Southerton Road, London, W6 0PJ. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Rentlens Technologies Ltd. Rentlens Technologies Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described below.
1. Who we are and how to reach us
We are a software development company based in Hammersmith, London. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 UK GDPR. Data enquiries are handled by the directors of Rentlens Technologies Ltd.

We do not ask for and do not want special category data (health, ethnicity, political opinions, religious beliefs, biometric or genetic data, sex life or sexual orientation) or criminal offence data. Please do not include any in an enquiry.
This website does not take payments. We do not collect card or bank details through it.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, the interest is running and growing a software development business by responding to people who contact us. We have weighed that against your interests and consider it proportionate, because you have chosen to make contact and we use the data only to answer you.
4. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do not use it to build profiles, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
A small number of suppliers process personal data for us under written terms. Each is bound to use it only on our instructions and to keep it secure.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to a court, a regulator or HMRC.
6. International transfers
Enquiry data stays in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Two content delivery services used to render this page, Google Fonts and Cloudflare cdnjs, are operated from the United States, so your IP address is transferred there when the page loads. Those transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.

8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- be told what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it (right of access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have data erased where we no longer have grounds to keep it (erasure);
- ask us to pause our use of your data while a dispute about it is resolved (restriction);
- receive data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller (portability);
- object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests, including any direct marketing.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time and it costs you nothing. To change or withdraw your cookie consent, clear this site's data in your browser settings and reload the page, and the banner will appear again. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
How to exercise a right
Email [email protected] with what you would like us to do. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, as the UK GDPR requires. If a request is unusually complex we may extend that by a further two months, and we will tell you within the first month if we do. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
9. Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is held in access-controlled email and file systems protected by strong authentication, and access is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. No system is perfect, and we will notify you and the Information Commissioner's Office where a breach requires it.
10. Cookies
This website sets no advertising or profiling cookies. It stores one strictly necessary item in your browser's local storage to remember whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies. 11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at [email protected] so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office: www.ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects you, we will say so on this page.
